Evarcha falcata is fairly widespread and common in Britain and is usually found by beating the branches of trees and low vegetation including gorse. The Spider Recording Scheme does not hold any records for this species from Cornwall although there are several ERCCIS records scattered across the County. These are not supported by voucher specimens but there is no good reason to doubt them. Evarcha falcata will probably turn up in several more tetrads.
