Sitticus pubescens is usually a synanthropic species found in association with human habitations. However, I found a male specimen running over boulders on the beach at Escalis Cliff near Sennen on 17 April 2006 (see photos). There are also ERCCIS records from a house at Angarrack made between 1989 to 1994 but these are not supported by voucher specimens.
