Pseudeuophrys lanigera was first recorded from Devon in 1930 and has since spread to many parts of Britain. This is essentially a synanthropic species almost always found in and around houses. In Cornwall, Pseudeuophrys lanigera has been recorded from houses in Truro, Angarrack, St. Austell, and Coverack on the Lizard Peninsula where I found a female specimen on a wall inside a house in April 2004. It will probably turn up in most houses in Cornwall.
