Philodromus emarginatus is Nationally Scarce (Notable B). Most records are from pine trees. It has been recorded from about 20 hectads in Britain. The Spider Recording Scheme has no records for this species from Cornwall (indeed the nearest records are from Dorset). The two ERCCIS records shown on the map are not supported by voucher specimens and need confirmation. They are probably mis-identifications.
