Zelotes apricorum is fairly widely distributed in England and Wales but is rare in Scotland. It prefers stony habitats. A characteristic feature of Zelotes apricorum is the pink egg sac that is attached to the underside of a stone by the female. The record from Downderry (on the south coast) dates from 1890 and requires confirmation. The records from the north coast (near Crackington Haven, were made by reliable experts in 1989 and 1990.
