Cheiracanthium virescens is uncommon in Britain, but may be present in some numbers where it occurs. It is usually found in dry sparsely vegetated site including heather. The only record held by the Spider Recording Scheme is from Penhale Sands made in 1979.
The single ERCCIS record was made in 1995 from Loggans Moor.
