Clubiona corticalis is common in southern Britain but has an easterly bias to its distribution. It is usually found under loose bark (hence its scientific name of corticalis). There are no records for this species held by the Spider Recording Scheme. The two ERCCIS records are not supported by voucher specimens and require confirmation.
