Agroeca cuprea is Nationally Scarce (Notable A). In Britain, it has only ever been found in eleven hectads, and in only two hectads since 1980. Agroeca cuprea is a species of dry sandy habitats including heathland. The only Cornish site is Kynance Cove where it was last recorded in 1968.
