Hahnia nava spins a small sheet web among stones, rock crevices, moss and low vegetation. It is widespread and locally common in Britain, but is rare in Cornwall. The only records held by the Spider Recording Scheme are from Redmoor Nature Reserve at the end of May 1979 and Goonhilly Downs in 1974. There is one ERCCIS record from Kynance Cove dated 1967.
