Xerolycosa miniata is mainly a species of sand dunes and sparsely vegetated coastal sites. The Spider Recording Scheme holds no records for this species from Cornwall but there are two ERCCIS records, one made in 1958 at Godrevy and a more recent record from Wheal Martyn near Carthew from 1992.
Xerolycosa miniata will probably turn up in sand dunes elsewhere in the County.
