Pardosa agrestis is Nationally Scarce (Notable B) with records from about 50 hectads in Britain. The only record from England west of Somerset is from Porthkerris made in 1983. There is some confusion over the identity of Pardosa agrestis, and Pardosa purbeckensis which appears to be confined to saltmarshes and estuaries. Thus although the Porthkerris record was made by a reliable arachnologist, it would be good to re-examine the specimen(s) to be absolutely certain of the identity.
