Hypsosinga pygmaea is an uncommon spider that spins an orb web in low vegetation. There are a few scattered records but Hypsosinga pygmaea has not been recorded in Cornwall since 1989 when it was found on. Tregoss Moor (the eastern most green dot on the map).
