Hypsosinga albovittata is widespread but uncommon in Britain. It spins an orb web near to ground level among heather. The only place from which it has been recorded in Cornwall is the Lizard. There is one SRS record from Goonhilly in 1968, and an ERCCIS record from Main Dale in 1980.
