Agalenatea redii makes its web in heather and gorse near to ground level. It is widespread and fairly common in England and Wales but there are few records from Cornwall. The most recent definite records are from Lowland Point, St. Keverne in August 2001 and Maen Dower on the cliff path north of Sennen in April 2006 (see photo).
