Microlinyphia pusilla is common throughout Britain where it is found among low vegetation. The Spider Recording Scheme holds few records but the ERCCIS database indicates that it is quite common in Cornwall. It was most recently recorded from Penhale Sands near Newquay in August 2003 (red dot).
