Halorates reprobus is an exclusively littoral species found under stones and tidal debris, sometimes below high tide mark. There is a single ERCCIS record from Piper's Hole, Tresco made in 1993. The most recent Spider recording Scheme record dates from 1975. However, the species was found recently in the Humid Biome of the Eden Project (the red dot) which it has presumably invaded from the surrounding environment.
