Diplocephalus picinus is common and widespread in Britain. It is most associated with woodland and scrub. However, the Spider Recording Scheme only holds two records for this species from Cornwall, Redrice Wood and Tregunnick Wood in the east of the County, both made in 1997. In addition, there is an ERCCIS record from Gweek Wood made in April 1984.
