Trichoncus saxicola is Nationally Scarce (Notable B). Most records are from calcareous grassland in Southeast England. However, it was found in 1968 at two sites on the Lizard Peninsula, the only records west of Dorset (apart from a single female found on Ailsa Craig, Scotland in 1976!).
