Theridion mystaceum is common in most of the UK but appears to be rare in the west. The only record in the Provisional Atlas of Spiders (Harvey et al. 2002) was from Tregantle, Whitsand Bay near Antony made in April 1996. The species was also found in 1986 at Cawsand in the extreme east of the County.
