Achaearanea veruculata is confined to Tresco on the Scilly Isles, its only locality in the UK. The species was introduced from New Zealand some time in the early 20th century. If plants are transported from the Scillies to some of the 'tropical' gardens in Cornwall, it is possible that it could become established on the mainland (it may have already made the journey).
