Achaearanea tepidariorum is an introduced species that is common in heated glasshouses of garden centres in most of England, but apparently not Cornwall. It was recently discovered in the buildings of the Eden Project, and in a garden centre at Newquay. The species is occasionally found out of doors but is probably killed by winter frosts.
