Deharvengiurus (formerly Onychiurus) argus (1.5 mm in length) is a recent addition to the checklist. It is only known from one site, a seashore cave on Tresco, Isles of Scilly where it was found in some numbers (Ashmole & Ashmole 1995). Although I have not been able to examine specimens, its identity is not in doubt. Deharvengiurus argus has an extremely high number of pseudocelli (PSO) on the dorsal side which make it impossible to confuse with any other member of the Onychiurinae (typical PSO formula 34/688/88896).
