Pseudosinella halophila is a blind, littoral species which was described by Bagnall in 1939 and is known only from Kingsteignton in Devon, and Cooden beach in Kent. The clearest diagnostic feature is the presence of a tooth on the outer edge of the empodial appendage of the foot (Fig. 1). The tenant seta on the outer distal tibiotarsus is pointed (cf. Pseudosinella petterseni in which this tenant seta is spatulate).
