Introductory note
Peter Bellinger had been keeping a list of all references to
all species of Collembola for over 50 years before his death in 2000.
Kenneth Christiansen
has the originals of this list.
Recently, a project to scan Peter Bellinger's notes has been started,
to make the list available at the internet.
Examining the
portions of this list already available will show the nature of the
references furnished. Since these were typed or handwritten in
different colors and intensities over the last half century, the
copies, while almost always legible, are of varying quality. If there
are serious questions about some of the references
Kenneth Christiansen
will be willing to send via snail mail a clearer copy of one or two
pages to anybody who requires them.

the scanned species list pages.
The following is a list of alphabetically sorted published species records,
painstakingly maintained by Peter Bellinger during his lifetime career
as Collembola taxonomist.
